The newsletter updates a recent judgment of a Vietnamese Court with unique particulars regarding the weight of cargo recorded in the bill of lading. By analyzing the judgment under relevant Vietnamese laws, the newsletter provides holdings of the Court on recognition of the &#8220;said to weigh&#8221; bill of lading, which is currently not as conclusive evidence of the cargo weight on board.
