Tuan joined Dzungsrt & Associates as a Junior Associate since 2024, specializing in Dispute Resolution and Maritime practice. He obtained LL.B Degree of International Trade Law – Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.

With practical experience in both arbitration and litigation, he plays an integral role in assisting lawyers representing clients before Vietnamese courts and arbitration. His work spans maritime claims, sale of goods disputes, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards.

•  Representing a port service company in a VIAC case arising from an equipment sale and purchase contract against a vendor

Litigations:

 Representing a foreign invested company in a lawsuit of more than 7 million USD in Ho Chi Minh City arising from a ship allision to an inland port against a Vietnamese shipowner

• Representing one of the biggest Taiwanese shipping line in a lawsuit of more than 6 million USD in Ho Chi Minh City arising from a cargo claims against a Vietnamese company
• Representing one of the biggest Singaporean shipping line in a lawsuit of more than USD 500,000 in Ho Chi Minh City arising from a cargo claims against a Vietnamese logistic company
• Representing one of the biggest French shipping line in a lawsuit in Ho Chi Minh City regarding non-contractual compensation
• Representing a Korean foreign invested company in a lawsuit of nearly USD 400,000 in Ho Chi Minh City against a Vietnamese financial leasing company
• Representing a Vietnamese airline in a lawsuit of more than 13 million USD regarding dispute on aircraft leasing agreement.

Recognition and Enforcement:

•  Representing a Korean foreign invested manufacturer as the award debtor in the recognition of the ICC Award having disputing amount of nearly USD 700,000

Wet work:

•  Representing a Korean P&I Club in supporting the shipowner in the allision between the container vessel and the shore crane at one of the largest terminal in the southern of Vietnam.
