On 20 January 2024, Dzungsrt & Associates’s lawyer, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang joined an interview on “Conditions for a valid arbitration agreement – Notes for businesses” by VTV2 channel (a channel under Vietnam Television specializing in Business and Law). The interview content thereafter was published in Tien Phong Newspaper dated 29 January 2024.
Commercial Arbitration is an alternative dispute resolution method regularly chosen by businesses for its utility. However, in several cases, the arbitration agreement is unenforceable due to the parties’ confusion and incomprehension of related regulations or subjective views when entering a contract. We hope that Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang’s sharing helps audiences and readers have a more general view of this issue.
