Recently, Asia Business Law Journal – one of the region’s most reputable legal publications – released an article discussing the US’ tariff policies and how Asian businesses are navigating the US global tariff war.
In this feature, Ms. Vu Phuong Trang, Deputy Director of Dzungsrt & Associates, was honoured to be invited by ABLJ to provide practical insights on the topic. In her comments, Ms. Trang highlighted several key observations, including:
–         The growing trend among businesses to renegotiate contracts, particularly concerning pricing clauses, payment terms, and delivery schedules;
–         The feasibility of invoking force majeure clauses and how such clauses may be applied when enterprises face unforeseen tariff shocks.
