[LEGAL UPDATE] NEW GUIDANCE ON ELECTRONIC LABOR CONTRACTS UNDER CIRCULAR NO. 08/2026/TT-BNV

As digital transformation continues to accelerate across Vietnam, the digitalization of human resources management and the execution of labor contracts has become an increasingly essential practice for businesses. To further strengthen the legal framework governing this area, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued Circular No. 08/2026/TT-BNV, providing detailed guidance on the implementation of electronic labor contracts under Decree No. 337/2025/ND-CP, effective from 1 July 2026. The Circular not only elaborates on the legal requirements for the conclusion of electronic labor contracts but also provides detailed guidance on contract identification codes, data management mechanisms, user authentication through VNeID, as well as measures to ensure service continuity and protect end users.
